Goals of Cares & Concerns Team
Cares & Concerns Team works to meet the needs of members going through a crisis, or celebrating a joy, or trying to make a significant transition. The team works with the ministers in providing a caring and supportive ministry to UUC members. The Senior and the Associate Minister are available for pastoral care and should be contacted in the event of any pastoral emergency.
The Cares & Concerns Team follows up with Joys and Sorrows expressed during the Sunday Service, visits with members of the community and shares a caring ministry in many different ways such as - making home & hospital visits, delivering meals, sending notes of support, and helping support the pastoral work of the ministers.
The Cares & Concerns Team will try to help out with transportation needs during health recovery periods. They may be able to help in transporting you home from a rehab center, or bringing you to Sunday services, or taking you to doctor appointments.
